Master of Science in Project Management

The MSc Project Management course has been designed to provide students with the specialist knowledge needed to successfully plan, implement and manage projects.

You will develop a broad comprehension of the most important concepts in project management, from a practical and strategic perspective. You will understand the risk involved with running projects and how to overcome them, therefore building your decision-making skills. The 12-month program will cover important topics including project development, managing risk and opportunities, handling project finances and how to manage people and organizations.

As part of your study you will gain free access to the IBM Enterprise Design Thinking digital Practitioner course (2.5 hours) and on successful completion learners become badged Enterprise Design Thinkers.

With a core focus on employability, this course will ensure students obtain the critical skills to become a first-rate project manager, making them a highly sought-after candidate for organizations.

By the end of the course, students will have acquired the necessary skills to manage large, complex projects across multi-faceted supply chains. You will develop a broad comprehension of most important concepts in project management with a strategic perspective in a global context.

Students will study for one year, divided into two semesters of 10 weeks, consisting of 60 credits each. Semester 2 is for dissertation module (60 credits).

Assessment

  • Students will be assessed in a range of different methods in order to assess the module outcomes. Formative assessment will include preparation and feedback from seminars, workshops, tests and preparations. Summative assessment, which also contributes to the grade, includes individual and group assignments, projects and exams.

 

Access to IBM Design Thinking

  • As part of your study, you will gain free access to the IBM Enterprise Design Thinking digital Practitioner course (2.5 hours) and on successful completion, learners become badged Enterprise Design Thinkers.
